I wanted to take a minute to share a journal that I found while doing research that I feel ties into this blog and how much we have  been talking about music and art therapies. The journal itself is the Music Educators Journal. The particular article that I think was most helpful and ties in best with this class is the article titled "Teaching Music to Children with Autism: Understanding and Perspective." The article is by Ryan and Amy Hourigan. I was able to find it by going to EBSCO and doing some searching around. Hope you enjoy reading this, I found it to be very interesting!
